Trauma resources
PANS and PANDAS are conditions which can have devastating impacts, both for the person living with the symptoms, and for the people who care for them. We know that many of the young people and families we support experience trauma during their PANS or PANDAS journey.
Dr Fisher is a clinical psychologist with a special interest in trauma and this webinar is essential viewing for any families who are looking to learn more about how trauma works, why PANS and PANDAS may cause trauma, and how we can begin to heal the trauma caused by the conditions.
We also highly recommend this webinar for any professionals working with our community. It provides an invaluable insight into the challenges children and parents face, and will certainly allow a better, trauma-informed approach to supporting these families.
